Sea Surface Temperature Data Available Reynolds SST (Oct 1992 - May 2001) Reynolds SST anomalies from 1993-96 monthly means (Oct 1992 - May 2001) Both products are available through our Graphical User Interface. Background       Several useful Sea Surface Temperature (SST) data products are available from PO.DAAC: the Pathfinder SST, the Reynolds SST, and the MCSST (listed in order of decreasing accuracy), all from the AVHRR instrument on the NOAA series of satellites.  This ESIP does not process SST; however, we provide the Reynolds SST with the same subsetting and profile plotting capability as our other data, because temperature and sea level are best analyzed together.       The user is referred to the  PO.DAAC pages for further details on the derivation of temperatures from the AVHRR instrument, and to the PO.DAAC Reynolds pages for further details on this product.
