Reports and Announcements
Steve Marley represented us at the initial GAI meeting. GAI replaces the Digital Earth Office. The meeting focused on logistics and a group charter.
The next GAI meeting will be hosted by EcoLogic on December 13. We are still
waiting for confirmation that the Federation can become an official member of GAI. Steve also attended the GeoData Alliance meeting in Denver. There is an OGC
meeting upcoming in Vancouver. Sylvia plans to attend that meeting.
GIS Services Brochure
Rob will generate some sample listings for the Products and Services brochure insert. The purpose is to provide greater detail on the GIS resources available within the Federation in a form that is familiar to GIS users. An associated web version will include more details.
January Meeting
For the January meeting, we expect to have the brochure insert ready to show. We also hope to report on progress with GAI and OGC involvement.
