Tucson Meeting Plans
We spent essentially the entire meeting discussing plans for the Tucson meeting. The main focus of that meeting is demos, so we will put a major effort into creating an effective demonstration of the capabilities of Digital Earth. In lieu of a face-to-face meeting between now and then, we will hold a "virtual" working meeting on Tuesday, December 5 from 9-2 PST (12-5 EST). We'll start with a telecon, then continue by logging into a common chat room for the remaining time. All Cluster members are encouraged to participate. The work should produce:
i) A demo of a Digital Earth Viewer overlaying images from several ESIPs
ii) A poster describing any scenarios developed or to be developed
iii) A search engine (or mock-up of one) that takes the user to data, rather than metadata
iv) A flowchart of how a scenario is put together for a specific end-use application
v) A description of what it takes to make a dataset WMT-compliant

We will meet as a Cluster in Tucson, at a time yet to be determined.
