Announcements
The Digital Earth Program Office has been replaced with the Geospatial Applications and
Interoperability (GAI) working group of FGDC. The group's first meeting is Oct 29 in Greenbelt.
Steve may be attending and could represent us there. More desirable will be for the Federation to become a member of GAI. rob will look into that.
WCS Development
It would be desirable to coordinate our interests in WCS spec development.
If the Foundation is unable to join OGC, we can pool our common interests and send a representative to meetings.
The work of OGC complements our work and it would be nice to explore to explore this synergy further.
GIS Services Brochure
Tim is still awaiting contributions to the brochure. We expect to produce a web version plus a one-page insert to the Product & Services brochure.
